Welcome
Here's the ethereal, mystical, dreamscape excerpt of "Doorways" (Berklee Senior Project-1989) that I promised last week. It consists of the Intro, Dream Sequence, and Ending sections. These are the sections of light and hope. The other sections of the original (almost 17min work) include a series of doors that open onto soundscapes portraying the darker parts of our minds (fear, ridicule, damnation). I may excerpt them (together, as I have done these) for a future release.
This week I've also processed " Phantom of the Okra" to enhance the recording quality. (Click the link above, or the cover art below, to hear the difference.)
Below, you will also find the enhanced version of "View from 238,857 Miles" that I introduced last week. I added a touch of reverb to smooth the strings, and processed with Neutron-Elements to minimize tape hiss. You may also notice the cover art has been enhanced slightly with deepdreamgenerator.com.
If you'd like to hear the original (unprocessed) version again to compare the difference, you can find it on my Drooble
Account.
Also this week, as hoped, I completed the Neutron-Elements and Binaural Panning enhancements on " Michelle's Waltz" which you'll
find below:
Next week I hope to share with you a sneak peek at the upcoming "Fire Circle" album art. I'm getting close to it's release, and also hope to compile a few of my space-themed tracks for an EP in the next few weeks. I'm also in the process of generating new fractal artwork for a video for
"Michelle's Waltz."
As always, thanks for listening (and sharing)!
-Shawn
